You are never too old to get younger
Stress is a major contributing factor of disease. Dr. Michael Roizen in his book “RealAge: Are you as young as you can be?” states that stress alters the immune system, is linked to myocardial eschemia, and increases heart rate and blood pressure (See Chapter 11: Stress Reduction). Dr. Andrew Weil states that “If you want to minimize age-related deficits in mental function, you must know and practice strategies for neutralizing the harmful effects of stress on the brain and other organs.” (“Healthy Aging,” Chapter 14). MORE TO COME.
